The Bible in Lockdown

Lockdown has been a difficult time for us all, not just our church family but the world. Millions of people are dying worldwide due to a virus that cannot be contained and mental health is becoming a crisis. Many are struggling with loneliness, fear, and despair but it is a blessing that we can find comfort in Jesus.

Whether you're stuck at home homeschooling the children, grieving the loss of a loved one, feel lonely or scared, or working on the front lines, it is important that you make time to talk to God daily and meditate on His word. There are many comforting verses in the bible and this is a great time to start setting some time aside to talk to God and let His word minister to your soul.

Romans 8:28 tells us; "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose".

With that in mind, we pray for our church family and all those effected by this virus in whichever way and we encourage you to read the Bible and pray every day.
